I updated the site today by adding some Solar features to the Astronomy section.
One page is now displaying the most recent imaging from the NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) , the other shows a movie composed of a series of images from the previous 24 hours of coronal activity. I hope you enjoy these new additions.

Finally I’ve started to make some progress on this site. I expect the progress will be sporadic, but hopefully the content will be interesting!The central theme will be Astronomy, and the ways that Astronomy overlaps with some of my other interests.
I’m using WordPress as the CMS as it seems to more than powerful enough for the things I have in mind. It also seems to offer me the ability to combine some of the features of a classic web-site with those of a blog. We’ll see!
